SenolyticEmerging
Fisetin
Flavonoid with senolytic activity in animal models. Clinical endpoints in humans still unclear.
How it works
Fisetin is a flavonoid that acts as a senolytic in the lab: it selectively pushes senescent zombie cells, which otherwise emit inflammatory signals (SASP), into programmed cell death. It is also antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. In mice it extended healthy lifespan; controlled human trials are still ongoing.
